Museum quality, vintage art prints (lithographs), made by famed sports artist Leroy Neiman. Commissioned in 1982, the prints were originally intended to be released during the1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympic Games. They are 18″ x 25.5″ archival quality lithographs of Neiman’s “The Olympic Pole Vaulter”. The edition was never released due to the Soviet Union’s surprise boycott of the LA Olympics
(“The Olympic Pole Vaulter” contains an image of the USSR flag flying alongside several other nations’ flags, rather controversial in the USA at the time.) The collection has been preserved for over 30 years. These prints are of a superior quality and were made by a highly collected artist. They would appeal to sports and Olympic memorabilia and vintage products. Additionally, the upcoming Rio Olympics will generate considerable interest in the collection.
