Sometimes businesses have stock that is taking up space or paying storage on, about to perish or become obsolete. BBX can be used as a clearing house to quickly sell and monetise the stock before it is rendered useless.
Here is an example of how this worked for a brewery with beer about to expire.
A brewery had stock of beer that was about to expire in 3 months. Their option is either to discount (devalue their product) or tip it down the drain in 3 months if still unsold. Which was likely because current customers expected a longer shelf life. The brewery sold the beer through the BBX network turning it into income rather than letting it go to waste and used the BBX income to engage a solicitor to complete a property purchase they were making converting former leasehold into freehold.
Here is an example of how this worked for a vacuum retailer.
A retailer had stock of vacuum cleaners they were paying £1,000 a month for the last 24 months in storage. The vacuum was also about to be superseded by a newer model. The retailer sold the stock on BBX before the vacuums became obsolete and by clearing out the storage unit saved £1,000 a month.
