Chiropractic
Chiropractic is a regulated primary healthcare profession; it emphasizes the body’s ability to heal and self-regulate without the use of drugs or surgery. The practice of Chiropractic focuses on removing misalignments in the spine that can affect the function and healing ability of the body due to decreased function of the nervous system.
Benefits of Chiropractic:
Helps with pain management – Chiropractic care is effective for pain relief for those suffering from moderate to severe pain.
Increases mobility – After events such as accidents like car crashes or falls you may feel stiff, and your mobility may be reduced. Chiropractic care can help you regain mobility in your spine and joints and combined with massage relax and stretch your muscles to help to relieve your pain. Chiropractors can advise on specific exercises to help aid recovery and regain movement.
Avoid drug side effects – Chiropractic doesn’t involve the need for drugs or surgery so there are no potential risky side effects of receiving chiropractic care. It also eliminates the risk of potential drug abuse and addiction. The perception of Chiropractic is often limited to the treatment of back pain, but as Primary Healthcare Providers we are consulted about a whole range of conditions.
