 Making a Will is the only way to ensure that your wishes are carried out after your death. If you have not made a valid Will, your assets will pass according to the Law of Intestacy. This may not be what you would have wished. In any event, it is likely to take longer to finalise than if you had made a Will.

 If you are a home owner with children you should also consider a Protective Property Trust (PPT) within your Will. A PPT protects your loved ones and ensures no matter what happens in the future e.g. remarriage, your family will inherit your share of the house, likely to be the asset you have worked hard all your life to buy. Ask about this when you arrange your consultation meeting.
