Wills

A Will is a legal document that expresses a person’s wishes as to how their property (estate) is to be distributed after their death and as to which person (executor) is to manage the property until its final distribution.

Cost: Individual Will £200.00 BBX or Mirrored Wills £300.00 BBX

Lasting power of attorney (LPA)

An LPA is a legal document that gives one or more people – known as attorneys – the power to make decisions on your behalf. Despite what the name suggests, attorneys can be pretty much anyone you choose. Typically, they’re family members or trusted friends.

The only restriction is that an attorney cannot be bankrupt or subject to a Debt Relief Order, for obvious reasons! There are two kinds of LPA, and we recommend you have both:

• Property and financial affairs

• Health and welfare

Cost: £300 BBX for one kind of LPA, £500 BBX for both kinds of LPA, £900 BBX for both kinds of LPA for a couple.

Note: To register each LPA you will need to pay an additional £82 to the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG).
