BBX are asking for your help to support those in need in Thailand!
BBX Thailand are supporting the Rotary Clubs of Thailand to help fund raise for people who have lost their jobs and are struggling to support themselves and their families. Money raised will go to buy food and water for people who need it the most.
Thailand’s borders have been closed for nearly one year to tourists, meaning many low paid workers in the hospitality and tourism sector have no work and no income. Many factories have closed due to reduced demand or border restrictions. Most of these low paid workers don’t pay into the Thai tax system, thus are not eligible for any financial support while they are not working.
How can you HELP?
You can make a BBX trade credit donation to the Rotary Club BBX account in Thailand. The trade credits that you donate will be used to purchase T-shirts with the Rotary Club logo printed on them. The T-Shirts will be sold for cash by the Rotary Club at events and online, to raise much needed funds to pay for food parcels for those who need them.
BBX have donated 300,000 THB (Approx. 10,000 USD) BBX trade credits.
