The Grand Marquee Brentwood is a 400 seater, all year round, fully self-contained, ivory tented, Marquee Wedding Venue with large
private gardens, commercial kitchen, bridal changing room, bar, snug area, restrooms and car park.
The Grand Marquee is a dry hire Wedding Venue and is tastefully lined with ivory wall & ceiling linings, making it a perfect neutral backdrop to compliment your chosen wedding decor. THE HERONGATE SUITE
Our Herongate suite has proved to be a very popular option for a more intimate wedding. This fully contained suite has everything you need to deliver a celebration to remember. Newly refurbished, our Herongate suite is a truly versatile space.
With its clean lines and subtle hues of grey and white, this room can be transformed into a perfect setting for your wedding celebration without losing any of the elegance. The suite can cater for 90 guests in a wedding breakfast setting, or up to 140 for a more informal layout.
Functions: Available for private events, corporate functions, and celebrations.

At the Halfway House, we have a function suite to suit your needs. We can cater for a wide range of events including; anniversaries, baby showers, christenings, children’s parties, and wakes as well as birthday parties and of course weddings. The suites can cater for large or more intimate gatherings. From 30 to 400!

Once an old coach house and stop over en route to Southend. The Halfway House is now a destination in its own right. Owned by the O’Donoghue family for 40 years, The Halfway House, has a warm welcome for all. As a Free House we are able to offer a wide variety of products; boasting fourteen draft beers and craft ales and up to 40 varieties of gin!
Our experienced team of chefs have created our menus with the finest ingredients, sourced locally. We take pride in delivering catering options to an exceptionally high standard.
