Teixeira’s entrepreneurial journey started extremely early. At the age of 11 he started working, had his own business at the age of 19, and is now a London-based Director of franchise business BBX.
“I have always had an entrepreneurial bone,” he explains. “When I turned 18 I decided I wanted a better future so I left my home-town in Madeira, Portugal to came to London to help my dad set up his takeaway business as he didn’t know how to speak English very well.”
Teixeira recommends that the younger generation needs to do its due diligence when weighing up a franchise investment opportunity. “Have a look at what different franchises have to offer and go for something you’re passionate about, and then commit to working hard to succeed,” he advises.
