Food 4 All is an organisation which aims to provide hot meals to the homeless and low income families in and around East London.

In association with the Namdhari Sikh Gurdwara in East London, our aim’s are based on the principle of the Sikh Langaar introduced by the founding Guru of the Sikh faith, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Satguru Uday Singh Ji is the current spiritual leader of the Namdhari Sikh Sangat world wide and is continuing the work of Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji. The langaar is a free kitchen provided at all Sikh Gurdwara’s. It promotes the principle of One God, and seeing the human race as one hence everyone is welcome and all sit together to eat together as one community. So regardless of religion, caste, creed, colour, class, gender, no one is barred and all are welcome.

We started food 4 all in mid-2016 from our Gurdwara in East London. The idea was to help those less fortunate than ourselves and provide the homeless and low income families with a place to receive a hot meal, and a place to shower and receive advocacy advice if needed in our local Borough Newham.
