Liberty’s Centre Falconry Experience Flying Days
Falconry is one of the oldest sports in the world, practised for the last 4,000 years. This is your chance to be a falconer for the day and experience the thrills of Falconry for yourself. Flying experiences are available all year round, although during June, July and August places may be limited, and are open to anyone age 10 years and over.
Your day will start at around midday at our Centre in Ringwood, Hampshire, and run until approximately 3pm. During this time you will get an insight into the everyday care and management of Birds of Prey, as well as experiencing the early stages of handling, manning and training the birds. You will be given the opportunity to fly various hawks, owls and vultures, and for those over the age of 16 years, the thrill of handling an eagle.
You will not need to bring any special equipment as we can supply you with everything that you will need for your day, although we do suggest that you wear footwear appropriate to walking out doors in an open field. We also suggest that you bring a camera or camcorder to record your day with us.
Costs:
Age 10 to 15 the cost is £80 BBX per person and an adult must accompany. (Included in price)
Age 16 and over the cost is £95 BBX per person for the day.
Liberty’s Centre Owl Experience
The Owl Experience will give you the unique opportunity to handle a number of different species of owls alongside an experienced Falconer. Later you will experience the thrill of flying one of these magnificent birds yourself

Costs:
For all ages the cost is £75 (minimum age 10 years)
For ages 10 to 15 years an adult must accompany them (included in the cost).
For safety reasons only one spectator (over the age of 16) is permitted at an extra cost of £20.
