20th February 2018: Understanding Alternative Dispute Resolution, Central London
Gregory Hunt, Founder & Managing Director of Hunt ADR, will provide a 6-hour course on dispute resolution to help business owners and those involved in resolving commercial conflict to understand what options are available and which options will suit for different types of dispute. This is a beginner’s course for those who are not familiar with different dispute resolution techniques like mediation, arbitration and adjudication.

22nd February 2018: Mediation in a Day, Central London
15th March 2018: Mediation in a Day, Southend on Sea
Gregory Hunt, Founder & Managing Director of Hunt ADR will provide a 6 hour course on everything you need to know about mediation in a day. This is an ideal introduction to mediation for business owners or those involved in resolving business disputes.

28th February 2018: The UK Legal System Explained for Non-Lawyer Mediators, Central London
Nigel Frost, Consultant Solicitor at Keystone Law, will deliver a course that will help business owners or those involved in resolving commercial conflict (who are not legally qualified), to understand the UK legal system more clearly. Nigel will cover the mechanics of the Civil Justice system and the place of mediation within it, case law, legal jargon and terminology that users will encounter, Tomlin orders and other relevant orders of the court and the relationships between solicitors and barristers.

19th March 2018: Co-Mediation in Half a Day, Central London
Experienced mediator Roger Levitt has developed ‘Co-Mediation in half a Day’ to provide those with some knowledge of mediation and those experienced at mediation with a full understanding of the advantages and possibilities of Co-mediation in just half a day. For those already qualified as a mediator or having already represented parties at mediation, this is a great way to refresh your knowledge and to mix with like-minded professionals and potential new clients.

26th March 2018: Mediating IP Disputes / Your GDPR Obligations, Central London
James Tumbridge is an Intellectual Property Partner at Venner Shipley LLP, and is recognised as a leading voice in GDPR and IP. James leads this two-part session which deals with the mediation of IP disputes (what is different about intellectual property?) before moving on to GDPR – Data Protection as a mediator – what you need to know and how to be compliant in the new world of data protection.
