UKHSS are offering bespoke in-house 1-Day First Aid training days to fit around the need of your staff and your business.

UK Health and Safety Solutions has been delivering Health and Safety training  for some 10 years.  Set up primarily for the South West market, increasing demand for affordable training and consultancy solutions has enabled us to expand across the UK bringing cost effective Health and Safety solutions to your doorstep.

Our Emergency First Aid, First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work Refresher courses are HSE accredited and are delivered on site, at your workplace at times convenient to you.

For all courses, candidates must be physically capable of carrying out the procedures detailed in the course overview and must attend for the full duration of the course to be eligible for the course assessment.

Candidates are respectfully asked to wear suitable, loose fitting clothing and flat comfortable shoes as they will be kneeling and lying on the floor at times.

Course Aims

To equip candidates with the skills and knowledge necessary to deal with an emergency first aid situation, to prepare for the assessment and achieve the HSE accredited Emergency First Aid at work Qualification.

Duration

6 hrs contact time – (Normally 9 to 5 although flexible to suit your needs).
Course Content and Learning Outcomes.

The candidate will:

Understand the role and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
Know how to assess an incident
Manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
Manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
Recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
Manage a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
Manage a casualty who is in shock
Understand how to manage a casualty with a minor injury

Notes

Candidates must be physically capable of carrying out the procedures detailed in the course content above and are respectfully asked to wear suitable clothing and footwear as there is an element of floor work and kneeling.

Price

Bespoke (on-site) course price is £650 BBX. Courses are delivered to a maximum of 6 delegates to ensure everyone receives the individual attention they need.

Don’t have 6 staff in-house but would still like an in-house training day?

This is a per course price, so if you have fewer staff but would still like the convenience of an in-house training, the course will be delivered to the number of people you choose.
