Driver Risk Management Toolkit for Small Businesses
Essential Contains everything you will need to address your duty of care requirements. I provide you with a comprehensive reference guide on how to use the Toolkit along with templates and resources; you simply edit a couple of documents to suit your business needs and operational preferences. It’s a kind of DIY option, but with full instructions on what, when and how to do things. This makes the cost affordable to even the smallest of businesses.
Essential+ Comes with all the features of Essential, but with the added advantage of support. If you get stuck on anything, just call me and I’ll help you sort things out.
Platinum Ideal if you would prefer a more hands-on approach by me, freeing you up to work on your business. I do all of the planning, implementation and setup of your driver risk management programme and train someone in your business to take care of the day to day tasks. I’m on hand to provide additional support and I’ll review your key documents annually, all the while you have a contract in place.
e-LearningOur e-Learning courses are designed with busy people in mind. They’re easy to deliver, can be fitted around the availability of your employees and help you to embed a culture of safe driving in the workplace.
For my larger clients, the courses landing page can be tailored to include your company safe driving message, your logo, and if you like, a video introduction by you.
About MeI’m Adrian Hide, a road safety specialist with over 30 years’ experience in driver risk management. I’ve worked in both the private and public sectors and I’m passionate about making travel safer on our roads.
What I do
My aim is to help you to understand your duty of care obligations under Health & Safety law and then work with you to set up and manage a driver risk management programme that’s right for your business and your people, which by default, will see you meeting your duty of care obligations.
Why I do it
Sadly, more people die because of a road collision than for any other work-related activity. In fact, over a quarter of all collisions involve someone who was driving as part of their work at the time of the incident. It’s not only a legal requirement to manage driver risk; it’s also the right thing to do.
How I can help
It’s all about protecting people, the business, their brand and their reputation. Every business is different so my approach suits businesses of all sizes. A start-up or SME will have very different requirements from a larger business, but they share the same legal responsibilities.
