The Diverse Abilities Gala Ball 2017

Diverse Abilities is the only charity that supports children and adults with profound physical and/or learning disabilities, and their families, in Dorset. Over the past 62 years, Diverse Abilities has grown to support over 700 children and adults in the county, through a wide range of services including a specialist school, children’s respite home, an adult’s day opportunities center, supported living bungalows and much more.
Our 60th-anniversary celebration in 2015 was our first ever gala ball and over £60,000 was raised for the charity, which was amazing. In 2016, we aimed to repeat this success and this time raised over £100,000! With the popularity of the event growing, Saturday 18th November 2017 will see our third annual gala ball at the Lighthouse in Poole. The ticketed event will again be attended by around 450 people, including local businesses, high net worth individuals, community representatives, staff, volunteers, people we support and their families.
