Hi, my name is Dan Perrin and I’m a copywriter based in Exeter.

For over 16 years my career has been in the newspaper industry – as a writer and sub-editor – working across regional and national titles including The Exmouth Journal, Express & Echo, The Western Mail, South Wales Echo and, most recently, The Royal Gazette in Bermuda.

After returning to the South West, I decided on a change of career direction and since I’ve always enjoyed working with words I thought copywriting/book editing would be the next logical step.
Since completing an accredited course in copywriting, I have edited and helped publish a novel, taken on social media work for my local Greenpeace group and a dog charity based in Yorkshire – plus I’ve written a blog, company profiles and social media posts for an office rental business in Exeter.

Ebook formatting; since the introduction of Kindle/tablet devices self-published books have increased massively, and I can help get your work to the finish line by making sure it’s formatted and completed in the correct way. My standard rates are as follows: £30 BBX per hour, £190 BBX a day.

For blogs; (500wds:£75 BBX), (500-1000wds: £120 BBX)

Please note, I understand that everyone’s background and projects are unique so I am always happy to have a chat with potential clients and, if necessary, work out a rate that is more suitable.
