It may be a while until Christmas, but Dorset Blind Association are already making preparations to ensure blind and partially sighted people are not alone. They have a variety of Christmas parties and events for members of our social clubs, as well as the usual support they provide all year round.
They have been accepted to take part in the Big Give Christmas Challenge again this year.
If they raise £3,750 in pledges by 31st August, the Big Give will turn that into £15,000, which, with additional Gift Aid is enough to run all of their social clubs for the elderly for the whole of 2017 helping over 450 individuals who may otherwise be isolated and lonely.
We at BBX are supporting Dorset Blind Association to raise the £3,750 in pledges, and hopefully even more, and are writing today in the hope that you will be kind enough to help them make sure this Christmas is not a lonely one for anybody in Dorset with sight loss, by pledging your trade pounds in the challenge this year.
- They must raise £3,750 in pledges by 31/08/16 to participate
- Pledges must be £100 + BBX – Ideally in denominations of 100 BBX / 200 BBX / 500BBX or 1000 BBX ( Donate more if you wish!)
- Pledgers have until 13th January to pay their pledges
If you are able to pledge please contact your BBX account manager by emailing Ben by clicking here
