September – The month We Celebrate
“Sparetember”
The BBX community takes pride in encouraging many business like-minded individuals to achieve their goals, and so, every September we go the extra mile and have a whole month dedicated to BBX Angels Charities, known as “Sparetember”.
Businesses on the BBX platform trade with one another using BBX Pounds to order supplies or services for their business.
Throughout Sparetember, businesses on BBX are invited to donate their spare capacity to help charities across the UK. This could be anything from unsold hotel rooms, magazine advertising space to unsold hours for a bookkeeper.
Any business or corporation that has a commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) should easily identify the benefits of becoming a BBX Angel as it is a cost effective way to increase the support they are able to give to charities.
By being able to source goods and services through Sparetember, charities can now offset some of their cash costs to focus and invest in their worthy projects.
Charities were able to source supplies and services they need from the platform such as marketing support, infrastructure for events, accounting and finance support, PR services and office supplies.

The BBX community has made it possible for us to get our marketing plan in place , back office functions etc and to all the amazing businesses, thank you so much.
We have also been able to get a computer screen for the charity and raised funds because of items that businesses did not need but wanted to go to a good cause.
We are now kitting out our new office and are looking for items we can buy that can be possible from your donations that we can use use in the office or sell to get what we need . We are in need of a large whiteboard, office paper shredder, printing paper, banner and coffee machine and drinks fridge to keep the volunteers going !! So if you can give this or any spare Capacity to purchase these via the network that will be amazing.
