Having been BBX members since 2014, we, as a charity, have seen huge benefits of being part of this service; from support with our fundraising, to off-setting general expenses and running costs of the charity.
We often receive very large donations from BBX members, which enables us to have a budget for things that we may not be able to afford in cash, like marketing / printing / purchasing prizes for our raffles and auctions, to name a few. It is also a great marketing platform as we often sell event tickets or sponsorship opportunities for our events.
Over the past 3 years, the BBX team have supported us during an annual fundraising campaign, called ‘The Big Give Christmas Challenge’, and with very short notice successfully source donations of £100 or more from other BBX members enabling us to reach our target, turning those donations into a fantastic £15,000 -£20,000 in cash.
BBX is a brilliant service that allows us to increase our fundraising income whilst reducing our cash expenses, which is extremely important for a small local charity that relies solely on fundraising and runs on very low budgets.
