Auditorium
The generous proportions of our auditorium provide creative flexibility for a wide range of events. Set it out theatre-style and it will comfortably host up to 580 delegates. This is ideal for large-scale conferences or staged events. The stage is large enough for a choir of up to 100 people, and your audience is guaranteed a feast for their ears thanks to the specialist built-in décor and ambience that makes it ideal for musical events.
Our AV control centre is located at the rear of the auditorium, and is equipped with a modern sound system, audio-visual equipment, and a programmable unit for stage lighting. Our production manager will be happy to discuss your needs and will ensure your day runs smoothly from a technical viewpoint.
A spacious foyer creates a comfortable environment for your guests to register on arrival and can be used for serving refreshments. And if you wanted a little more space than the foyer then the adjacent Shaftesbury Hall and its patio area are perfect for accommodating people before opening the doors to the start your event, or during the breaks.

Halls
Shaftesbury
Shaftesbury is a spacious ground floor hall that is perfect for larger training events as it seats up to 175 theatre-style. The flexibility of this hall also lends itself to creative workshops, first-aid training and other activities where plenty of natural daylight and space is advantageous.
Delegates can enjoy the patio and grass area during breakouts when the weather is fine, and if you want a team-building day where some of the activities are outside, this facility would be ideal as as there are doors leading straight out onto this area…
Wilberforce
Wilberforce is a first-class training facility. It seats up to 110 theatre-style, and is ideal for presentations and training days. Its floor-to-ceiling windows fill the room with natural daylight, helping your delegates to stay alert.
This carpeted hall comes with a client-controlled temperature panel and state-of-the-art lighting that allows you to colour-wash the walls to set the ambience. Perhaps you could match them to your corporate colours…
Fry
This stylish hall will comfortably host up to 60 delegates theatre-style, and also has the flexibility for a range of other layouts. Our high-tech lights let you create a wide range of ambient settings by colour washing the walls with light, plus you can control the in-room heating and air-conditioning.
Combine it with the Wilberforce, More Room and the foyer for a complete suite of flexible rooms, situated away from the other facilities at The Ridgeway Centre…
