The Organisation for Responsible Businesses (ORB) is a national, not-for-profit, member-owned company that has been driving the responsible business agenda in the small business community, from sole proprietors upwards, since it launched in 2010.

ORB offers membership, training, and certification options for small businesses, and is delighted to offer both membership and training via BBX.

MEMBERSHIP

ORB has a 3-stage membership process to protect the integrity of the membership base. It starts with the questionnaire as mentioned above. If you wish to complete the membership application, commit to the Members’ Pledge, and then we’ll have a 1-2-1 Zoom call to share information about our respective organisation and ensure there is a good values-match.

Membership starts from £100 per annum and varies according to number of employees. You can find the relevant rates for your business here.

All memberships go through a simple three-stage application process to protect the integrity of our community.

Unlike typical membership organisations, ORB has been a founding part of the responsible business movement since 2010! We’ve always focused on external impact and internal operations.

ORB TRAINING

Our 6-Week Faciliated ESG / Responsible Business Course:

This course is designed for any solo, micro, or small business owner, including start-ups, looking for practical knowledge, peer support, and accountability needed to understand and implement responsible business practices including UK legislation across the whole of business operations.

The course can be taken as a stand-alone business development tool. Or, for anyone considering Responsible Business Standard Certification, this course covers that framework and is a mandatory prerequisite before beginning the certification application.
