Not every young person thrives in a traditional classroom.

Get Fed is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company supporting young people aged 13–19 who are at risk of exclusion and/or exploitation, giving them the opportunity to develop practical skills, confidence and real-world business experience.

Get Fed provides young people with 12 sessions of barista and business training, followed by opportunities to put those skills into practice at real events.

Through the programme, young people can:

• Learn practical barista and hospitality skills
• Develop business and enterprise experience
• Build confidence communicating with customers
• Learn responsibility and teamwork
• Project-manage real events
• Gain genuine workplace experience
• Build connections with business professionals
• Earn 50% of the profits from the events they work on
