What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. It is played on a court with a net and a plastic ball that is similar to a wiffle ball. The game can be played as singles or doubles.
To start the game, a player serves the ball underhand from behind the baseline and aims to land it in the opponent’s service area. The receiving player must let the ball bounce once before returning it, and then the serving player must let it bounce once before returning it. After the ball has bounced once on each side, the players can either volley the ball in the air or let it bounce before hitting it. The point continues until one player misses the ball or hits it out of bounds.
Pickleball is popular among people of all ages and skill levels and can be played indoors or outdoors. It is easy to learn and can be a great way to stay active and social.
