Sureclose fire door team are trained and qualified to undertake fire door inspections.
What typically occurs is that prior to any inspection occurring the building owners will supply the inspector with a copy of the building plans, this obviously highlights the locations of the door whether they are single or double sets and on occasions, these will show the door’s unique Asset tag details. Using this information we can create a report template which initially shows the:
•Building
•Door Location
•Asset tag details
The inspector will then visit every door individually he will ensure that the assess tag matches the plans, where plans are not available he will capture the location and asset details.
Once remedial actions have been completed we are often then be instructed to complete a survey of all the failed doors to ensure they now comply. The alternative is that if you wish us to complete the repairs our inspectors will independently sign off our technicians’ repairs.

Intrusive Hardware Survey £4 BBX per door set
Remove hardware and carry out an intrusive survey to determine if hardware has been correctly fitted.
Intrusive Architrave Survey £30 BBX per door set (minimum 10 doors)
Remove architrave and carry out an intrusive survey to determine if gap between frame and structural opening has been correctly fire stopped.
