The famous Swanage Steam Railway line runs through Harmans Cross connecting the beautiful seaside town of Swanage and the historical village of Corfe Castle.
Swanage is perfect for a beach stroll, fish & chips, and some famous Purbeck Ice cream to finish.
Swanage holds the South’s Biggest Carnival and different famous festivals to suit all tastes throughout the year. Also full of pubs, bars, restaurants and a theatre Swanage is sure to keep you entertained.
You will see the unmissable ruins of Corfe Castle on your journey to your holiday home, do go back and visit the friendly village and walk around the grounds of the castle.
You won’t be disappointed.

Hidden and a secret to many is some must-see places to visit.
You will pass through a village called Church Knowle.
The old converted farmhouse pub called The New Inn is worth a visit! its food is highly recommended and the place is bursting with history.
You will see signs to Kimmeridge Bay, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, these are all worth visiting, offering great picturesque walks and sights.
The abandoned village of Tyneham has discreetly tucked away, but please do visit. Tyneham Village was evacuated in 1943 during WWII and has been deserted ever since.
