Terms and conditions of redeeming the holiday voucher
Charges of £52.50 per person (£7.50 per night) are payable at the time of booking. Based on a family of 4 supplements of £50 if booking is only 3 or £100 if booking is for 2 people apply. Charges correct at time of going to print and may be modified without notice.
Reservations must be made at least 14 days prior to the check-in date. Redemption may only be made against accommodation only and specifically not travel costs, meals and other expenses that may be incurred. Some resorts require that an all-inclusive fee be paid.
Bookings must be made on or before the “Book By Date” printed on the Certificate. Certificates that have not been redeemed by the “Book By Date” will not be accepted.
Certificates are not redeemable for cash by recipients, cannot be resold by recipients and cannot be cancelled or exchanged for refund, except as required by law or specifically permitted by these Conditions. Unredeemed Certificates have no value.
Photocopies or scanned copies of Certificates may not be redeemed and will not be accepted.
Certificates may be transferred as a gift, or without payment or consideration by recipients, but cannot be used by recipients for any commercial purpose, including rental or sale. Certificates that have been resold or howsoever traded commercially by recipients will not be accepted. We may void Certificates where we become aware that they have been resold or traded by recipients without our consent. These limitations do not apply to the initial purchasers of Certificates who may dispose of Certificates lawfully for consideration.
We will not be responsible for lost or stolen Certificates. Lost or stolen Certificates will not be replaced or refunded.
TERMS APPLICABLE TO THE REDEMPTION OF YOUR CERTIFICATE
You have received a Certificate which is valid to redeem for accommodation for a one-week (7 nights) stay at a resort property which is made available by us.
You may choose to upgrade the Certificate to redeem enhanced accommodation in return for payment to us. You must obtain your upgrade at the time you make your reservation at the selected property and upgrades may not be made after this time.
These Redemption Conditions, together with our privacy policy and, any website terms and conditions of use, together with any other written information we brought to your attention before we confirmed your booking, form the basis of your contract for accommodation in a resort
By redeeming your Certificate, you agree on behalf of all persons detailed on the booking that:-
■ you have read these terms and conditions and you have the authority to and do agree to be bound by them;
■ you consent to our use of information in accordance with our Privacy Policy;
■ you are over 18 years (or over 21 in the case of bookings of accommodation in the USA) of age and where placing an order for services with age restrictions declare that you and all members of the party are of the appropriate age to purchase those services.
Please note that Orangutan TM Ltd and RCI Europe does not offer any scheme of financial protection in respect of any bookings made via this website.
We may alter these terms and conditions at any time. If we do so, all subsequent bookings will be governed by the newer version.
Redeeming Your Accommodation Arrangements
A booking is made with us when a) you redeem your Certificate by booking an available holiday accommodation and b) we issue you with a booking confirmation. A binding contract will come into existence between you and us as soon as we have issued you with a booking confirmation that will confirm the details of your booking and will be sent to you via email. Upon receipt, if you believe that any details on the confirmation (or any other document) are wrong you must advise us immediately as changes can not be made later and it may harm your rights if we are not notified of any inaccuracies in any document within ten days of our sending it out.
Certificates are not redeemable for cash by recipients, cannot be resold by recipients and cannot be cancelled or exchanged for refund, except as required by law or specifically permitted by these Conditions
