Fredan Engineering has been designing, manufacturing and erecting structural steel since 1978. Our Little Irchester site (near Wellingborough) was purpose built and is fully equipped with the facilities to undertake a wide array of functions to support our client’s needs. In addition to our factory, we have an in house drawing office, estimating department and site crews to ensure our service is faultless from end to end.

As a client focused organisation, safety and compliance are at the heart of our operations. We are CE marked (EXC 2), ISO 9001 and SSIP accredited, as well as ConstructionLine and Safe Contractor approved.

We undertake all steel works from large steel frames to small projects for local builders and are fully insured up to £10M. Given our customer focus and long standing (27 years at current factory) we have built up an excellent reputation and loyal customer base.

Priding ourselves on competitiveness, quality of work and complete support from the point of placing an order until all steel works are finished on site. Situated next to major transport links (M1, A1, A45, A6) we are well placed to support our clients across a wide catchment area.

During our long history we have undertaken many prestigious projects including works at Harrods, Heathrow (T4), Gatwick and just recently St Luke’s theatre in Bedford, to name just a few.  We are also a preferred supplier for many of the main contractors in our area.
